Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1.   Which currency do you use?

Payment is in South African Rands only.

2.  I want to pay via eft outside Healthy Coils website what payment option do I choose?, (applicable to domestic clients only)

     Choose cash on delivery option, please note we strongly discourage paying  actual cash on delivery rather bring  or email proof of payment / deposit slip than bringing in  cash. See detail under Delivery Information and Payment Methods.

3.  What do I do if I receive goods damaged or broken in transit?

If you do not receive your order in mint condition or if anything is broken or damaged please let us know immediately so that we can rectify the situation. Please take a clear high definition picture of the damaged item showing the entire item including the damage and send it to us immediately you receive the goods. DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT. We shall liaise with you on how to rectify the situation. As a way of guide but not limited to this action, Healthy Coils make arrangements for you to return the product. If the product is used we will not refund. If the product had not been used, we shall arrange a replacement or refund. Note speed of replacement is dependent on the availability of stock, if the product is out of stock you have a choice to refund, exchange or wait for Healthy Coils to get the stock from the supplier. For overseas products, we will liaise with you of the possible waiting period. 

4.  Can I get a refund / exchange or do a cancellation at any time?

We apologies in advance, we do not offer refunds or exchange or cancellation once the order is processed and shipped. If you are unsure on what to purchase please contact us we will gladly assist you. Also check under “shop by concern” or hair type to ascertain the products. However if you want to exchange before processing the order, contact us we will gladly exchange or cancel the order for you. Note in a case of cancellation it will carry 10% admin cancellation fee.  In a case of exchange, note the order can only be dispatched once full payment is received. Changes on the same order twice will be charged administration fee, avoid unnecessary fees, make the right choices. Our goal is to give you the very best service as possible and let you have your order as soon as possible.

5.  Do you refund back to my bank account?

We apologies there will be no refund to your bank only to your Healthy Coils account. We endeavour to have this option in future.

6.  What happens if an item I need is out of stock?

Send us an email, we will liaise with you as to when the item will be available. Be assured that we will do our very best to get the products you desire to you as soon as possible and that you will always be in the loop with how your order is progressing.

7.  Are your products locally made?

The majority of our products are made overseas.

8.  Do you deliver overseas?

We currently offer delivery in SADC countries only. If your country is not on the drop down list of the countries we are sorry, we do not deliver at the moment. Some products may be restricted to certain countries due to supplier agreement we have, but be rest assured if in those countries we have affiliates who can fulfil your order, we will let you know. Contact us and let us know what you are interested in purchasing and we will work with you.

9.  Do you offer samples?

We apologise, we do not have free samples of our products at this stage.  However for some product lines we may have trial sizes on sale, please feel free to purchase when available.

 

10. What are the ingredients in your product?

We specialise in organic, natural base products. Ingredients are listed under each item for your convenience. Also check product description and the brand ingredient attribute. If you are unsure please contact us, we will gladly help you.

  

11. Where can I find the status of my order?

You can find the status of your order by logging into your account and going to My Account and checking your status. Once the order is dispatched you will be given a tracking no, which you can use to track on the courier website. Also, any orders that are completed there is always an email sent to your email address. If you don't receive them in your inbox they might be stored into your spam folder. If you are using gmail, check your promotion folder. Please check there or change your settings to receive communication from us, we love to pamper you.

12. If I'm Caucasian, mixed race, Asian can I still use these products?

Yes. All brands featured on this site accommodate all hair types since products are made from natural ingredients. However there are certain products that are best for 4c type of hair, contact us we will assist you.

 

13. I am a male can I still use this products?

Yes, you can, the products are made from natural ingredients are suitable for the rest of the family.

 

14. Are the products safe for colour treated hair?

15. Should I still use a moisturizer while using Bee Mine Hair Growth Serum?

Bee Mine Hair Growth Serum with Sulfur is to be used on the scalp only, you can use a moisturizer to nourish the hair. Bee Mine No Sulfur Serum and Bee Loved Hair & Scalp Moisturizer can be used for both scalp and hair. These two can also be used as a sealant   A little goes a long way so use sparingly.

 

16. What are the benefits of using Bee Mine Serums with sulfur & risks?

The benefits of the sulfur powder in the Serum is a boost in growth. Although we have carefully selected essential oils and herbs to help in this process sulfur powder does give a boost as well. The risk is some people are allergic to the sulfur powder although rare there is a possibility. This is why we ask everyone even those that don't use our products to perform a patch test prior to full use on the back of your hand. If you have a perm or use any type of chemical treatment we ask that you stop using the sulfur based Serum prior to the chemical treatment 7 days prior and 7 days after with at least a co-wash prior. This elevates a possibility of irritation or your perm (retouch), color not taking.

 

17. Can Bee Mine be used for all hair types?

Yes, Bee Mine can be used on naturally curly, kinky relaxed, texlaxed and color treated hair. It is suggested that if you relax your hair, stop using Bee Mine Sulfur based products up to one week (7 days) prior to a touch up and one week (7 days) after. You do not have to stop using Bee Mine No Sulfur Serum prior to a touch up or chemical treatment.

 

18. How often should I apply Bee Mine Hair Growth Serum and how?

Bee Mine Hair Growth Serum should be applied every day or every other day for best results. Part your hair into sections and apply, use it sparingly as little goes a long way.  Massage thoroughly throughout your scalp making sure your entire scalp is covered for optimum benefit. Style as normal. If you have Caucasian, Asian type of hair  since your scalp do produce oil, but desire to get the benefits of the serum,   you can apply in the evenings and wash if off in the morning. Note the Serums with Sulfur is not to be placed on your hair it's to be used on your scalp only.

 

19. Can I style my hair in any way that I want including flat ironing if I use the Hair Serum?

Yes you can. It doesn’t matter how you choose to style your hair.

 

20.   Is something wrong if I experience tingling scalp while using the Hair Serum?

No, you are fine it's simply the Serum working and your hair is not going to fall out, but if you experience a nonstop burning sensation, you might be allergic, wash it off with a cleansing shampoo immediately.  We strongly advise all clients to do a patch test first. If you have used sulfur aid spray even the moisturiser with no problem then you are not allergic to sulfur.

 

21. I permed my hair can I still use the products for curly/wavy?

Yes.

22.   When can I expect my package to arrive and what carrier do you use?

Depending on where you live we use variety making sure it is the cheapest.

 

23.   Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Select the post office nearest to you as a pick up point, or Postnet Normal post is not advisable since the products are natural and needs to reach you as soon as possible.

 

24.     How to I store or take care of my products?

The products are made from natural ingredients, all are best kept in a cool to room temperature away from direct sunlight. In dry and hot conditions store your products in a fridge cool setting not in a freezer.

 

25.    Do you accept Money Orders or Money gram?

We are working on it, contact us if this is the only form of payment accessible to you. We will work with you to find the best possible way to solve the problem.

 

26.     Do you accept cheques?

Sorry we do not accept cheques.

 

27.     Can anyone with dreadlocks use dreadlocks removal kit, regardless of age of dreads and type of hair?

Yes, you can. The old aged dread will require more product and more time, check the link of how to remove dreads. Patience, patience one section or lock at a time, you are sure to get great results. Also remember you have a lot of dead hair as well that was meant to be off, however you will be to retain most of your length   I advise clients to purchase Knotty Boy Ultimate detangler with the kit.

In general the products are safe for most people.  Do not use products that contain ingredients you are allergic to or may be allergic to.
